Ara Parsekian is an Application Engineer helping to develop the latest series of technologies and processes based on PulseForge tools. His role at NovaCentrix is to collaborate closely with customers on a wide range of technical projects, utilizing the latest NovaCentrix expertise in solution deposition and photonic processing, in order to accelerate the transition from ideation to validated manufacturing capability. He also contributes to process modeling efforts and development of new manufacturing capabilities at NovaCentrix. Prior to joining NovaCentrix, Ara earned his doctoral degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA. As a doctoral candidate at Georgia Tech, he conducted experimental research on slot die coating and roll-to-roll (R2R) manufacturing of thin film devices. He developed a patent-pending manufacturing technique for wide-area deposition of high-resolution pattern features, and demonstrated scale-up of the technique during an internship at NovaCentrix’s Austin facility. Ara also holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University in Houston, TX.
